Apartment sales rise in North Okkalapa property market which interests people willing to move to Yangon
There are more apartment transactions in the property market of North Okkalapa Township, where people willing to live in Yangon are interested, according to information from the real estate market.
During current months, the real estate agents in that township are busy and there are many transactions until almost all apartments for sale are sold out.
“The real estate market in North Okkalapa has received buyers. There were many transactions in August, September and October. The brokers are working with their own clients. Most apartments have been sold and almost none is left to sell. Now, the houses are rented in every township. The market is going to get better,” said an agent from North Okkalapa family real estate agency.
In the coming months, the real estate market in North Okkalapa will improve, and there are now a lot of buying and renting in the wards.
“It will be better in November and December. Now there are more house rentals than land sales in North Okkalapa. It is close to the Aung Mingalar Highway Bus terminal and the North Okkalapa Hospital. There are more people renting in those areas. Wards with good neighbourhoods such as Wazira, Thanda, Nweni and Eaindra have more rents and sales,” he said. — Thit Taw/ZN/ED
