Jake Paul just won against Mike Tyson… and if you've seen the fight, there are some key takeaways that we can all learn from:
1. There's NO WINNING against aging. If you're young, in your teens, twenties, thirties... RESPECT the gift you've been given, and take care of your body. It's a great privilege to be young and in top shape. Use this as a reminder. I'm in my 30s and I got super inspired to use that beautiful time of my life where I still can be in super good shape.
2. Jake Paul HELD HIMSELF BACK. Yes, he held himself back, and as much as it was bad for the fight, I respect that he didn't want to humiliate "old" Mike. The moment he realized Mike was not in shape to fight, he stepped back and didn't take the opportunity to knock him down. Say what you want, that speaks quite highly of his character.
3. The event's energy went down the moment everyone realized Mike was in danger. It's ironic, but truthfully, Mike was the underdog in this fight, and despite the low performance, I want to remind everyone that the fight is about much more than just the appearance in the ring. Mike Tyson, in his late 50s, managed to go through a super hard training camp to arrive there and stand for 8 rounds. I think that's something TO RESPECT. And anyone who knows the feeling of our body clock will agree, despite weak performance, it was actually super inspiring. As Mike said himself, at the end of the day, he does it only to prove to himself that he still can fight.
4. Gotta love seeing WOMEN get recognition for their hard work in the boxing world. Although I didn't agree with Amanda losing, I just love that these 'alternative' boxing matches mix genders and bring awareness to women working hard in the sport.
All in all, there will be a lot of hate and negativity about this fight, and so I encourage you to look at the bright side and instead have some positive takeaways from this fight, that can impact your life in a positive light.

Myanmar attracts US$43M FDI from China in Apr-Oct

Myanmar drew more than US$43 million from China in the past seven months of the current financial year 2024-2025, beginning 1 April, including an expansion of the capital by the existing enterprises, as indicated by a statistics release of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA).
Chinese companies primarily made investments in the manufacturing sector.
Singapore is the leading foreign investor in Myanmar, with $87.74 million of FDI in the past seven months of the current FY, followed by Thailand and China.
The Myanmar Investment Commission gave the green light to 33 foreign projects from seven countries (China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand) to make investments of over $220 million in the past seven months, adding increased capital by the existing enterprises from China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong SAR, India, Republic of Korea, Japan, Seychelles. MIC prioritizes manufacturing enterprises that need a large labour force to create jobs for locals.
The Transport and Communication sector pulled $87.7 million with the capital expansion of $82.66 million this FY. The manufacturing sector drew over $84 million, and the services sector received $44 million. The power sector brought in FDI of $8.5 million, while investments of less than one million flowed into the agriculture sector, respectively. The livestock and fisheries sector witnessed a $1 million increase in capital from existing enterprises. — KK
