Helene Pummels US South With Worst Flooding in a Century
The US South experienced some of its worst flooding in more than 100 years as the remnants of Hurricane Helene dragged across the area, killing at least 44 people, knocking out power to millions, stressing dams and leaving behind potential losses of more than $100 billion.
