Around 1400 Myanmar workers to be recruited by Japanese companies
More than 430 Japan companies will recruit around 1400 Myanmar workers, according to a statement on demand letters issued by Myanmar Embassy in Japan.
The embassy has carried out timely verifications of demand letters received from the Ministry of Labour via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it said.
It verifies whether labour supervisory company and factories or companies which offered jobs in Japan are officially established or not, and re-submits its findings and remarks to the Ministry of Labour through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It’s about 431 demand letters that are submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after verification until 11 September 2024.
According to it, up to 430 Japan companies would offer jobs for more than 300 Myanmar male workers and more than 1000 Myanmar female workers.
The embassy’s statement on 15 October said more than 400 Japan companies would recruit more than 1400 Myanmar workers. – MT/ZS
