DICA report: 14,500 companies fail to file AR in Jan-Sept

A total of 14,500 companies were struck off the register in the past nine months (January-September) of 2024 as they were unable to file annual returns (AR) on the online registry system, MyCO, according to the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA).
DICA’s statistics indicated that 750 companies in January 2024, 600 in February, 1,650 in March and 2,000 each in April, May and June, 2,500 in July, 1,000 in August and 2,000 in September did not file the AR.
DICA notified those companies that failed to file their AR on the MyCO that were struck off the register from the date of the directive, under 430 (F) of Myanmar Companies Law, according to the DICA’s notification.
A total of 6,400 companies also failed to submit the AR in 2023. The registration and re-registration of companies on the MyCO website commenced on 1 August 2018, in keeping with the Myanmar Companies Law 2017.
All registered companies need to submit AR on the MyCO registry system within two months of incorporation and at least once every year (not later than one month after the anniversary of the incorporation), according to Section 97 of the law.
Under Section 266 (A) of the Myanmar Companies Law 2017, public companies must submit annual returns and financial statements (G-5) simultaneously. All overseas corporations must submit ARs in the prescribed format on MyCO within 28 days of the financial year ending under Section 53 (A-1) of the Myanmar Companies Law 2017.
As per DICA’s report, thousands of companies were suspended for failing to submit AR forms before the due date. Newly established companies are required to submit ARs within two months of incorporation or face a fine of K100,000 for filing late returns.
DICA has notified that any company which fails to submit its AR within 13 months will be notified of its suspension (I-9A). If it fails to submit the AR within 28 days of receiving the notice, the system will show the company’s status as suspended. Companies can restore their status only after shelling out a fine of K50,000 for the AR fee, K100,000 for restoration of the company on the register, and K100,000 for late filing of documents, totalling K250,000. If a company fails to restore its status within six months of suspension, the registrar will strike its name off the register, according to the DICA notice. — NN/KK

ဦးဇခုန်တိန့်ယိန်း အုပ်ချုပ်သည့် ကချင်အထူးဒေသ(၁)ဒေသအတွင်းက ချီဖွေ၊ ပန်ဝါ၊ ကံပိုက်တည်၊ ဆဒုံး စသည့် ဒေသများကို ကချင်လွတ်လပ်ရေးတပ်မတော်(KIA)နှင့် KIA လက်အောက်ခံ ပြည်သူ့ကာကွယ်ရေးတပ်ဖွဲ့(KPDF) တို့ ပူးပေါင်း၍ ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ စက်တင်ဘာလမှ စတင်ကာ တိုက်ခိုက်လာခဲ့သည်။

ထို့နောက် ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ စက်တင်ဘာ ၂၉ ရက်နေ့တွင် ချီဖွေမြို့နယ်အား KIA-KPDF ပူးပေါင်းတပ်ဖွဲ့က သိမ်းပိုက်ခဲ့ ပြီး အောက်တိုဘာ ၁၈ ရက်နေ့မှာတော့ ပန်ဝါမြို့ကို ထပ်မံသိမ်းပိုက်ခဲ့သလို အောက်တိုဘာ ၂၁ ရက်နေ့၌ ကံပိုက် တည်နှင့် ဆဒုံးကြား စင်ကြိုက် ကျေးရွာအနီးရှိ နယ်ခြားစောင့်တပ် ၁၀၀၃ ကို သိမ်းပိုက်ခဲ့သည်။

KIA-KPDF ပူးပေါင်းတပ်ဖွဲ့က ကချင်အထူးဒေသ(၁) နယ်မြေကို တိုက်ပွဲဖော်ဆောင်လာခြင်းကြောင့် ဒေသတွင်း နေ လာချိဒ်လူမျိုးများနှင့် တခြားသော မျိုးနွယ်စုပေါင်း ထောင်နှင့်ချီ ထွက်ပြေးတိမ်းရှောင်ခဲ့ကြရသည်။

လာချိဒ်စာပေနှင့်ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဗဟိုကော်မတီက “ ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ လာချိဒ်လူမျိုးများ နေထိုင်ရာဒေသများတွင် တိုင်း တစ်ပါးရန်ကို တိုက်ခိုက်သကဲ့သို့ စစ်မက်တိုက်ပွဲများ ဖော်ဆောင်ခြင်းကြောင့် ဌာနေတိုင်းရင်းသားဒေသခံ ပြည်သူ များ၏ အသက်အိုးအိမ်စည်းစိမ်များ ဆုံးရှုံးခြင်း၊ လူသားချင်း စာနာမှုကင်းမဲ့စွာ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးများ ချိုးဖောက်ခံနေ ရသဖြင့် လာချိဒ်တစ်မျိုးသားလုံး လွန်စွာဝမ်းနည်းကြေကွဲ စိတ်မကောင်းဖြစ်ရပါသည်”ဟု ထုတ်ပြန် ပြောကြားခဲ့ သည်။

ထို့နောက် ကချင်အထူးဒေသ(၁)တွင် ကချင်မျိုးနွယ်စု အချင်းချင်း လက်နက်ကိုင်စစ်မက် ဖော်ဆောင်ဖန်တီးသည့် တာဝန်ရှိသူများအားလုံး စစ်ပွဲများ ချက်ခြင်းရပ်တန့်ပေးရန်လိုအပ်သည်ဟုလည်း ၎င်းတို့က ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။

လာချိဒ်စာပေနှင့်ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဗဟိုကော်မတီက “ လူမျိုးရေးပြဿနာနှင့် သမိုင်းဆိုးကျိုးများ ပေါ်ပေါက်လာပါက စစ်မက်ဖော်ဆောင်သူ အဖွဲ့အစည်း၏ တာဝန်သာဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ကချင်မျိုးနွယ်စုအချင်းချင်း လက်နက်ဖြင့် တိုက်ပွဲ ဖော်ဆောင်တိုက်ခိုက်ခြင်းကို ကန့်ကွက်ရှုံ့ချကြောင်းနှင့် ငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာ ဆွေးနွေးအဖြေရှာခြင်းကို လာချိဒ်တစ်မျိုး သားလုံးမှ လိုလားပါကြောင်း သဘောထားထုတ်ပြန်အပ်ပါသည်”ဟု ပြောသည်။

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ လွတ်လပ်ရေးရပြီးနောက် ပြည်တွင်း လက်နက်ကိုင်ပဋိပက္ခကြောင့် ထိုဒေသ(ကချင်အထူးဒေသ-၁) များတွင် အဖက်ဖက်၌ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုနောက်ကျခဲ့ရာ ၁၉၉၀ ခုနှစ်တွင် ဦးဇခုန်တိန့်ယိန်း ဦးဆောင်၍ ထာဝရ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေး ရယူပြီး ဌာနေပြည်သူများ ပညာရေး၊ ကျန်းမာရေးနှင့် လမ်းပန်းဆက်သွယ်ရေး ဘက်စုံဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုး တက်လာပြီး ငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာ နေထိုင်ခဲ့သည်မှာ ယနေ့တိုင်ဖြစ်သည်ဟု လာချိဒ်စာပေနှင့်ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဗဟိုကော်မတီက ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သည်။

ကချင်အထူးဒေသ(၁)နယ်မြေများသည် တရုတ်နိုင်ငံနှင့် နယ်နိမိတ် ထိစပ်နေသော ဒေသများဖြစ်ပြီး တရုတ်-မြန်မာ ကုန်သွယ်ရေးဂိတ်များရှိသလို တရုတ်နိုင်ငံ၏ မြေရှားသတ္ထူ တူးဖော်ရေး စီမံကိန်းများနှင့် တစ်ရှူးငှက် ပျော် စိုက်ခင်းများ စီမံကိန်းများလည်း ရှိသည်။

ထို့ကြောင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ တရုတ်အထူးကိုယ်စားလှယ် တိန့်ရှီးကျွင်းက KIA ခေါင်းဆောင် ဗိုလ်ချုပ်ကြီး ဂွမ်ရှောင်နှင့် တွေ့ဆုံကာ တိုက်ပွဲများ ရပ်တန့်ရန် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြသည်။

တောင်ကြီးမြို့တွင် ဟိုတယ် အလုံးရေ ၄၇ လုံး၊ ကလောတွင် ဟိုတယ် ၇၂ လုံးနှင့် ဟိုတယ်အားလုံး ဖွင့်လှစ်ထား လျက်ရှိနေပြီး အင်းလေးဒေသ ညောင်ရွှေမြို့နယ်တွင် ဟိုတယ် ၁၁၀ တွင် ၅၆ လုံး ပိတ်ထားကြောင်း သိရသည်။

CBM to sell 5M yuan, 25M Thai baht on 28 Oct

The Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) announced the sale of five million yuan and 25 million Thai baht on 28 October and then sold US$20 million, over one million yuan and 18 million baht on that day.
CBM injected $20 million, 800,00 yuan and 200,000 baht on 25 October and $100,000 and 8.2 million baht on 24 October 2024 into the financial market.
CBM sold over $2.5 million and 16.5 million baht after announcing upcoming sales of 20 million baht to importers on the foreign exchange trading platform on 23 October.
It injected over $7.5 million and about 150 million baht into the private sector on 22 October, again after sales of 2.2 million and 1.5 million yuan on 21 October.
CBM announced the sale of $35 million for those engaged in fuel oil and edible oil sectors as per its notification dated 20 October.
CBM injected $6 million and 200 million baht on 15 October, $730,000 on 11 October, $12.4 million and 38.7 million baht on 10 October, 660,000 yuan on 9 October and over 10 million baht on 7 October into the private sector.
CBM also pumped $13.1 million and 288,000 yuan on 4 October, $780,000, 1.2 million yuan and one million baht on 3 October and over 1.2 million yuan and 10.2 million baht into the financial market on 2 October.
CBM also sold over $76 million, 86 million baht and 4.8 million yuan in September. Moreover, CBM sold over $190 million, 19 million yuan and 79 million baht in August.
CBM aims to curb the instability in the foreign exchange market and the currency devaluation. According to CBM’s notification on 15 March, it has been joining hands with law enforcement agencies to combat and prosecute those who attempt to manipulate the currency market under the existing laws.
