Dala estate market active again in post Thingyan
Dala real estate market, which attracted investors as a result of Yangon-Dala Bridge construction project, has been active again after there was a little sluggish sale before Thingyan, according to local estate service agencies.

The bridge construction project has led to a change in the township property market and there is a perspective that property prices will be better when the project ends.

“The bridge construction is still underway. Property market at Dala has received attentions again after Thingyan. Both sellers and buyers have expressed their interest again in April and May. When the bridge project is complete, the township estate prices will get higher onwards. Prices have changed depending on the completion of the bridge,” said Ko Tharlon Kaung Pyae from Tharlon Kaung Pyae estate service agency.

At present, roads in the township have improved and Kawhmu road and Twantay road connecting with Dala has improved completely.

“There is just a river between Dala and Yangon’s downtown townships – Lanmadaw, Latha and Kyauktada. Unlike Thanlyin, Dala is closely situated to Yangon,” said Ko Tharlon Kaung Pyae.

When the bridge completes, Dala will be developed more than before, that will benefit a lot both Yangon Region and Dala residents, he said.
