ME Beijing targets China’s Minsheng Bank clients for Myanmar investment

Myanmar Embassy in Beijing, China, elaborated on investment and business opportunities in Myanmar to about 50 special customers of China’s Minsheng Bank on 19 September during their visit to the embassy.
The Myanmar Embassy also highlighted Myanmar-China people-to-people cultural exchange and investment opportunities in Myanmar.
Myanmar Ambassador U Tin Maung Swe gave an opening remark to China, and Economic Counsellor Daw Thin Thin Aung explained Myanmar’s economy and investment opportunities. Mr Liu Wei, chair of the Myanmar-China Cultural and Tourism Promotion Society in Beijing, also addressed the tourism sector in Myanmar.
China’s tea culture was also featured at the event. Participants discussed matters regarding Myanmar’s tourism, business environment, and investment climate. — ASH/KK
